The Roughneck 65627 sledge hammer is a well designed drop forged alloy steel hammer that has been hardened and tempered for a longer life. It has a fully milled chamfered striking head and solid core fibreglass handle so you get the 6lb weight on the job, not on the tool, giving the hammer a strong head to shaft connection.

Roughneck have used the latest materials in this sledge hammer. The shaft is moulded to the head for additional safety and strength. The unique soft-grip handle gives the user a comfortable grip during use, reducing fatigue.
