Designed for fast hammer drilling of anchor holes in concrete and masonry, the EY7840LR2S also easily converts to standard rotary drilling for steel and wood or screwdriving using the 5 stage torque clutch. The innovative T-grip design results in a stable balance, allowing one-handed operation and working in tight spaces.

The Panasonic EY7840LR2S uses Lithium-ion battery technology which has a number of advantages: the batteries have no memory effect, which allows them to be recharged before they are completely discharged; they are up to 40% lighter than a NiCD or NiMH battery and they also maintain their charge noticeably longer which provides increased productivity.
