The Makita BTD145Z Features a brushless motor which provides the unit with a significantly increased life, more power and faster running speeds.
The Makita BTD145Z uses lithium-ion battery technology which has a number of advantages, the batteries have no memory effect which allows them to be recharged before they are completely discharged, they are up to 40% lighter than a NiCD or NiMH battery and they also maintain there charge noticeably longer which provides increased productivity.
The BTD145Z is a tool only unit and therefore has No batteries, charger or case supplied.
