The Makita BSS610RFX Lithium-ion cordless circular saw is lightweight and compact.

The BSS610RFX provides an easy-to-trace cutting line with the LED job light and built-in blow-off nozzle.

Uses Lithium-ion battery technology which has a number of advantages: the batteries have no memory effect which allows them to be recharged before they are completely discharged, they are up to 40% lighter than an Ni-CD or Ni-MH battery and they also maintain their charge noticeably longer which provides increased productivity.
