BJV140RFE Makita lithium-ion cordless jigsaw has tool-less blade change for rapid blade removal/replacement and a built in job light for use in low visibility applications. The Makita BJV140RFE uses lithium-ion battery technology which has a number of advantages, the batteries have no memory effect which allows them to be recharged before they are completely discharged, they are up to 40% lighter than a NiCD or NiMH battery and they also maintain their charge noticeably longer which provides increased productivity.
