The Makita GD0600 high speed die grinder is fitted with a paddle style switch which requires a constant pressure applied to the switch. Supplied with a 6mm collet as standard, it allows the fitting of tungsten burrs, mounted points and any other 6mm spindle tooling rated to a maximum speed of 25000rpm. Mainly used in the engineering trade for cleaning welds and for de-burring the inside of tubes and pipes the GD0600 has also been adopted by the woodworking trade for engraving and sculpting off wood.
