At only 2.9kg and a compact A4 size, overhead drilling is a cinch with the GBH36VLICP. Incredibly fast 36V power, Bosch Li-ion Compact batteries supplied with the GBH36VLICP can drill 100 holes (6 × 40mm) into concrete on one charge. Unique Electronic Cell Protection (ECP) means they'll last up to 4 times longer.

The Bosch GBH36VLICP is the first Bosch cordless hammer with an active Anti-Vibration system. With pressure up to 160Nm, the vibrations are significantly lowered to as low as 10m/s.

It's also the first Bosch professional hammer driven by an electrically commutated motor (no carbon brushes needed). This brushless motor gives the GBH36VLICP a higher degree of efficiency (80-90%) compared to a standard DC-Motor (70%), so not only are carbon brush changes a thing of the past, you get a lower size and weight BUT with the same power and runtime.

This Bosch GBH36VLICP SDS+ Drill uses Lithium-ion battery technology which has a number of advantages: the batteries have no memory effect which allows them to be recharged before they are completely discharged, they are up to 40% lighter than an NiCD or NiMH battery and they also maintain their charge noticeably longer which provides increased productivity.
