The Bosch GCM12 GDL features the revolutionary Axial-Glide™ System which delivers unmatched cutting smoothness; unlike conventional machines the saw is not guided by means of a slide carriage but by a glide arm made of robust die-cast aluminium. Unlike sliding mechanisms that wear due to dust getting into the bearings this arm is mounted on sealed bearings and is maintenance-free, ensuring smooth sawing over its entire lifetime. The Axial-Glide™ system offers a considerable saving on space, so the the tool can be positioned directly against a wall.
